3 Best Google Chrome Extensions for Bloggers

Blogging is very difficult.

Writing a post is just the beginning. In addition to this, you must optimize your posts for search engines, take care of graphics, engage with readers, do guest posting, start Building an Email List, become Proactive on social media, build links to boost your rankings, etc. in order to become a successful Blogger.

Thankfully, there are some Best Google Chrome Extensions for Bloggers that will make these repetitive and time-consuming tasks faster and easy.

As you all know that Google Chrome is the most popular browser. I think that reason behind Chrome’s popularity is its wide range of extensions which let us perform various tasks with ease.

There are thousands of extensions in the chrome store. But in this post, I have listed out some Best Google Chrome Extensions for Bloggers.

Save to Pocket Chrome Extention

Have you ever experienced that you were reading a very interesting article and suddenly you got to do some urgent work, and due to that you lost that article? This had happened to me a lot of times.

I used to read a lot of articles but don’t remember it after reading.

But when I got to know about Save to Pocket, my productivity and efficiency increased to a great extent.

When I find an awesome article on the web and do not have time to read it, then I save it to Pocket. And use all saved articles for brainstorming to write a new blog post.

Pocket is a free chrome extension that was founded in 2007 and undoubtedly it is one of the most popular Chrome Extension as it has more than 30 million registered users.

Once you save an article or a video or a tweet to Pocket, you can read it on any device like smartphone, tablet or computer as it automatically syncs with your device.

One of the best feature of Pocket is it lets you read saved article offline.

You can also see other articles recommended by Pocket or persons whom you follow on Pocket based on the topic you have saved .

Grammarly Chrome Extention

Most visitors find an article with grammatical mistakes and spelling mistakes unforgivable. They just hit the Back button seeing typos.

Making a grammatical mistake on your blog will result in losing credibility.

Everyone tends to make grammatical mistakes while writing no matter how fluent he/she is in English.

In this situation Grammarly comes at rescue. Grammarly keeps an eye on spellings and grammar when you write anything on sites like WordPress editor, Facebook, Gmail and other email sites, Quora, Google Docs, etc.

Grammarly checks every aspect of your writing by automatically scanning the text .

When you make any mistake, it will highlight the word with a red underline. After hovering on it, Grammarly will show you possible corrections.

You can see the demo below.

Best Google Chrome Extensions for Bloggers

When I wrote Googl instead of Google, Grammarly highlighted the term “Google” with a red underline, when I hovered on it, it showed me the corrected word “Google”.

The bonus feature is that When you see unknown words while browsing on the internet, you can double click on that word to know meaning of that word.

MozBar Chrome Extension

MozBar is a free SEO tool from Moz which helps you to find domain authority and page authority of any website.

After installing this extension, you will see MozBar on top of every page you visit which will show Domain Authority (DA) and Page Authority (PA), the number of backlinks and the spam score of that domain.

It has a search overlay feature that lets you display the Moz metrics like domain authority, page authority, backlinks, and other data right in the SERPs. It will also show these metrics in SERP when you perform a search on Google.

If you are looking for blogs where you can Guest Post, then MozBar is the perfect match for you.

You can use MozBar to check the domain authority of the blog. If it is too low, you can move on and find another blog with higher authority.

The second important thing while guest posting is to check whether a blog that allows guest posts is giving a do-follow link or a no-follow link. If it’s giving a no-follow link, then also move on to another blog as a no-follow link gives less SEO benefits.

MozBar is the best Google Chrome Extensions for Bloggers.

How to use MozBar ?

Open Google Chrome Store and search for MozBar or you can download it by clicking this link MozBar and then click on the ‘Add to Chrome’ button. install it in your Chrome browser

Create a free account at Moz Community account.

Look for MozBar’s ‘M‘ icon at the toolbar which is located at the top right side of your chrome browser.

You can customize the metrics shown in MozBar by clicking the Settings gear icon on the top right of MozBar. From there you can choose between a light or a dark theme and toggle on and off metrics.

You can choose to move MozBar to the bottom of the page instead of the top by clicking the bars button on the right.

You can perform Page Analysis by clicking the page and magnifying glass icon on the top left. After clicking that icon, You can see information in 5 fields such as On-Page Elements, General attributes, Link Metrics, Markup, and HTTP status.

On-Page Elements shows details about URL, Page Title, Meta Description, Meta Keywords, H1, H2, Bold Text, Italic Text, and Alt Text of the Page.

Alexa toolbar is also a good extension as advertisers use it to analyze in some ways. Also, KWfinder should be included on your list.
